BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation joins the nation in recognizing the many remarkable and valuable contributions of men and women who are blind across America on Blind Americans Equality Day. Just as blindness doesn’t take a day off, Fidelco German Shepherd Guide Dogs work 365 days a year, propelling men and women who are blind from a world of shadows and darkness into one of limitless possibility and achievement. With Fidelco Guide Dogs leading the way, clients pursue their goals and dreams with increased independence and confidence.

Fidelco clients climb mountains, compete as world-class athletes, serve society as teachers and advocates, and support their families. For some, victory is a Paralympic gold medal; for others, it’s regaining the ability to walk their child to the school bus stop.
