On September 8, 2013, Casey Davis, publisher of the DeafMD website, completed the Nation’s Triathlon in Washington, D.C. The event raises funds that benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.
Casey is also the publisher of DeafMD, a website that provides clear and concise health education in American Sign Language to promote the overall wellness of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community.
According to the Nation’s Triathlon website:
The 2013 Nation’s Triathlon course is one of the most spectacular and athlete friendly courses in the world winding past monuments, memorials and history through the Nation’s Capital.
The swim takes place in the scenic and calm Potomac River, where you will swim past Arlington Cemetery and under the Memorial Bridge twice. The swim start is next to the transition area and the finish line so family and friends can watch more of your race!
